Sunday Post #4

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog

You can find the original post here.

This week was super busy, but I tried to make more room for reading: 20-30 minutes in the morning before work, while drinking my coffee. It’s very nice so I will try make a habit out it! I also received some excellent news, about something I’ve worked really hard on for a while now so fingers crossed it all works out in the end!

This week I’ve discovered that I could borrow audiobooks from my local library via the app BorrowBox and it’s been life changing! If your library offers this service, I would highly recommend taking advantage of it, you can get loads and I find the app more intuitive than Audible – and it’s completely free!

I will publish an article about it next week but I challenged myself this weekend and managed to get some reading done… more to come soon!

I’ve read and finished

Ian McEwan, The Cockroach (audiobook)
Jessica Andrews, Saltwater
H. G. Wells, The Invisible Man (audiobook)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Muriel Spark, The Girls of Slender Means

Currently Reading

Akala, Natives
Brit Bennett, The Vanishing Half
Hilary Mantel, Wolf Hall & Bring Up the Bodies (audiobook – read by Dan Stevens, please)

We went to a vintage market when we were on holidays and I found a little treasure as well as a secondhand copy of Bernardine Evaristo’s Girl, Woman, Other.

Louisa May Alcott, Little Wives – how beautiful?!

BTS – Dynamite (my sister’s such a fan of them, she’s been rambling about their new song all week before it was released and all weekend once she’d listened to it, so I HAD to put it as my song of the week!)

Have a great week, and happy reading! x
